THE chef and catering industry is most at risk of job loss due to AI, according to PWC and ONS data crunched by RS Components.

According to Boss magazine, with a 54 percent calculated risk of automation, roughly 2.42 million jobs in the chef-catering industry are expected to be gone by the year 2030, the data forecasts.

It was followed by arts, entertainment, and recreation with 45 percent risk of automation (992,350 jobs lost) and the manufacturing industry, also with a 45 percent risk (1.17 million jobs).

The industries of education, health and social work, and legal jobs face the lowest risk of automation, according to the data.
