WHAT would happen when there are two captains on a ship?
There would be infighting, the crew would be demoralised and lose confidence in both captains and the ship will eventually be directionless or sink.
That is what’s happening at PKR right now.
On one side is the faction loyal to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the other faction is led by Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
Already, things are not looking good within the Pakatan Harapan coalition after their loss in Tanjung Piai.
And now, the squabbling seemed to have spilled over from the coalition to PKR.
It does not help when Anwar is saying something and Azmin in is saying another thing.
This would be confusing to the rakyat.
And the rakyat’s confidence in PKR and Pakatan is already severely dented with a slew of issues.
These include the repatriation of Chin Peng’s issues and the wrong Jalur Gemilang issue at the Malaysian Basketball Association.
All these issues do not augur well for Pakatan and PKR.
How can the rakyat believe that PKR or even Anwar and Azmin for that matter, be able to steer the country when they can’t even lead the party.
Anwar and Azmin must work out their differences if they are serious about winning the next general elections.
All the infighting is of to no avail and is simply not worth it.
The rakyat is already saddled with high cost of living and they look up to Anwar and Azmin for help.
But how can Anwar and Azmin help when they are busy scratching each other’s faces.
Remember your promise Anwar.
Remember your promise Azmin.
Both of you want the same thing which is to make things better for the rakyat.
Work out your differences – now.
