The students from SMK Puchong Perdana, SK Dusun Tua and the Federation of the Deaf Malaysia were presented with the tablets, each with different kind of needs by HeiTech’s Group Chief Operating Officer, Salmi Nadia Mohd Hilmey, at separate ceremonies held recently.

The donation, worth RM55,000, was part of HeiTech’s Tablet Donation Programme in realising the MyDigital blueprint, set by the Prime Minister, where everyone should be able to go digital including those in the rural areas and ones with disability.

“As a technology player who has been in the business for the past 25 years, we are always ready to bring digitalisation to the next level by being part of the MyDigital initiative. Hence, one of our strategies is to focus on empowering Malaysians on the use of technology and digital solutions to improve their lives in all aspects”.

The eligible students were selected by their respective schools with priorities given to those from the B40 family group, who will sit for the main examination in 2021 and have not received such assistance before. – BebasNews
